How to look Old money in college

Dressy flats

Dressy flats are the best way to look elegant and comfortable in college.

A beautiful pair of ballerinas can make your outfit go from basic to classy. Slingback flats are also a good option if you want to look effortlessly stylish.

Monochromatic outfits

If you want to look classy in college, you need to build monochromatic outfits. They will not only make you look classy but expensive as well.

A beige monochromatic outfit is the best option for fall. It’s Elegant and chic.

If you do not like monochromatic outfits, you can always go for nude ones. They’re as classy.

Beige, white, cream, brown, coffee, and navy blue are some old money aesthetic colors that will make you look elegant at college.

Timeless tops

One of the main keys to looking classy anywhere is to find the right top.

In college, you’ll probably wear the same top multiple times. Therefore, you should bring timeless, high-quality tops with an elegant neckline and a normal length.

A classic top is not only more practical but looks more classy as well.

Hair accessories

If you want to look more stylish in college, you need to buy cute hair accessories.

A black headband can elevate any college outfit. Gold hair clips are also extremely cute and chic.

Get out of your comfort zone and add something to your hair. You won’t regret it.

What should you not wear to college

Pointed heels

Pointed heels are not very practical in college.

If you want to wear heels in college, Mary Jane pumps, kitten heels and heeled boots are the best and least uncomfortable options.

Too much makeup

To be clear, a woman can wear as much makeup as she wants.

However, it is always better to go for a natural makeup look.

A natural makeup look is faster and more classy. Focus mainly on your eyebrows, eyelashes, and lips.

Too much Jewelry

Wearing too many jewelry pieces is not elegant or practical for college.

The best jewelry pieces for college are a thin necklace, two rings, earrings, and a bracelet or a watch. You don’t need anything more.

Besides, by wearing precious jewelry pieces, you take the risk of misplacing them.

Plus, there are plenty of college activities in which you’ll have to take them off.

So, just stick with a few jewelry pieces. College it’s not the most suitable place to show off your diamonds.

How many outfits do You need for college?

I’d say at least 12 outfits. Try to bring to college as many minimalist pieces as you can. That way, you can build multiple outfits with little clothes.

Don’t pack clothes you’re probably never gonna wear. Bring classy pieces you can easily style and that you feel comfortable wearing.

My best advice for girls is to bring, besides your sportswear, three or four basic bottoms and fifteen tops. With those pieces, you can build many outfits that look cute and classy.
